Our Rotties are inside/outside dogs with no expanse spared on best raw food, care, regular exercise and worming along with all the love and attention they deserve, that’s why the quality in our Rottweiler puppies and older dogs shows. Coming to our home you will not see 20 plus Rottweilers all locked up in cages. We live for our dogs and not off them, our household works in other fields for our livelihood and don’t rely on our dogs for an income.
Life at Meisterhunde Rottweilers
At Meisterhunde, our Rottweilers are not simply breeding dogs — they are part of our family and our everyday life. Our dogs live in a home environment in Victoria, Australia, where they receive daily interaction, exercise, attention and care. We believe that the environment a Rottweiler grows up in plays an important part in its development. A Rottweiler needs more than a kennel or a yard. It needs human interaction, structure, exercise, socialisation and the opportunity to experience everyday life. All our Rottweilers are an important part of the Meisterhunde family.
Raising Our Puppies
When we have a litter, our puppies become the centre of attention. All our Rottweiler pups are whelped inside our home in warmth and comfort and when old enough are brought out in the comfortable puppy pen. We take great care during the early weeks of a puppy’s life, providing appropriate handling, interaction and experiences to help them develop into confident young Rottweilers. Rottweiler Puppies are introduced to different sights, sounds, surfaces and everyday experiences appropriate for their age and development. We believe early socialisation is an important foundation for the life ahead of every Meisterhunde puppy.
More Than a Breeding Kennel
Meisterhunde is not about producing as many puppies as possible. We deliberately keep our breeding program limited so we can concentrate on the dogs and puppies in our care. Our philosophy has always been simple: Breed for quality, not quantity. We want to know where our Rottweiler pups are going, who they are going to and that each puppy is going to a family prepared to make the commitment required to own a Rottweiler.

Living with a Rottweiler is a rewarding experience, but it is also a responsibility. Rottweilers are intelligent, powerful and loyal dogs that thrive when they have structure, training, socialisation and a strong relationship with their owners. This is why we put so much emphasis on raising puppies with the right foundations and educating our puppy families about responsible Rottweiler ownership.
